We are very proud of our home bred, raised and trained stud dogs.  We have been fortunate to have had some very powerful individuals available to breed to our dominant females.   Below you will find photos and links to pedigrees for our stud dogs along with a brief description of their talents and how we fit them into our breeding program.

Custom Stockdogs' BEN

 

"Ben" is one of our main working dogs at home as well as in demonstrations. He is getting better all the time! John Thomas saw him and calls him one of the best dogs in the Country. He has style to burn and will bite when asked. He is the sire of "Buck" another dog with great potential.  Ben is a great choice to break stock to work. "Buck's training is coming along nicely. Some day he may even be 100 percent! This picture is the first day "Buck" worked calves. It was also the first day the calves were worked.

 

 

 

 

 

Custom Stockdogs JOE

 

"Joe" is a son of "Mable" and "Alex Harriet's Moss". He is proving to be a great cross on our dominant female line. He is a steady worker with plenty of grit. He is not very big but he is stout.

 

 

 

        

 

 Custom Stockdogs' MOSS  

 "Moss" is a son of Henry's Imported Moss (Skip).  He had a very successful trialing career in England with John Thomas before his retirement and importation to the United States.  He won the English National Trial in 1999.

These pictures were taken the first time Moss was put into the  training pen when he was not quite a year old.         

We just had the first litter of pups from Moss this spring and they are very nice.  They are already looking at stock and have great attitudes about everything they are exposed to.
