News from Customstockdogs
The St. Louis Herding Club held a trial on March 3rd and 4th, 2007 They put on a great trial despite some very wintry weather!
CSD Ben competed in his first cattle trial and placed first and second for his runs in Advanced A.
Ben also did very well in his sheep class. He was first both days in Advanced A and earned a High in trial and a Reserve High in trial for his great effort.
Joyce now has her AKC judging license. (December 2006)
At the Border Collie National Specialty October 2006 Joyce Burnham and CSD Ben competed in both the Sheep and Duck classes. They were awarded the High in Trial Award with their score on A course Advanced Sheep on Monday and also received the High in Trial Award on Tuesday with their score on A Course Ducks.

Debbie Willoughby and her dog Lachlan were awarded High in trial on Advanced A course Ducks Wednesday and Reserve High in trial on Advanced A course Ducks Monday and Tuesday. Debbie has been attending Custom Stockdogs training clinics since Lachlan was started working livestock.

Bev Shultz, another long time Custom Stockdogs training clinic student turned in some great runs at the Nationals with her dog Sam. Sam and Bev attended their first clinic when Sam was just a puppy.
